Buddhism is one of the deepest religions in the world. There are so many teachings that very difficult to understand. When we try to learn Buddhist teachings, the main problem is the language. Each lessons were mentioned in
Pali. [
Pali - an ancient language of India] Therefore it is difficult to tell every word in English. But I can explain each word in English within brackets.
Pali words will be seen in Italic font throughout the blog.
The whole Buddhism can be divided into 3 parts.
- Suthra Pitaka [chanting and preaching when special movements]
- Abhi Dhamma Pitaka [most deepest teachings]
- Winaya Pitaka [Disciplinary matters and rules for monks]
This blog was started to teach people
Abhi Dhamma, the most important part of Buddhism.
Despite the convenience of learning,
Abhi Dhamma was divided into 4 main parts, called
Paramartha Dhamma.[just a name]
- Chiththa [everything about our mind]
- Chaithasika [everything about our thoughts]
- Rupa [a scientific description for matter that our body made from]
- Nibbhana [the final target of all Buddhists like Heaven]
There are some important teachings of Buddhism that you must know.
Panchendriya [The main five objects of our body]
- Chakku [eye]
- Sotha [ear]
- Ghana [nose]
- Jeewha [tongue]
- Kaya [skin]
(Sometimes there is a sixth object. It is the Mind)
Thilakshanaya [The three natures of everything]
- Anithya [changeable]
- Dhukkha [sorrow or pleasure because of the change]
- Anathma [There is nothing to say mine]
Kusala Mula [deeds lead basics]
- Alobha [haven't stringiness]
- Adhosa [haven't anger]
- Amoha [not doing cheating]
